The pages of our site will introduce you to a few of the islands of the Exuma Cays including Sampson Cay, Staniel Cay, and Compass Cay. The islands are easily accessible by flights from either Fort Lauderdale, or Nassau, and are less than 300 miles from the coast of Florida. The Exumas consist of approximately 120 small islands called cays (prounounced keys). Many of the islands are privately owned by celebrities and private familes.  Johnny Depp, David Copperfield, Faith Hill and others spend vacation time on these islands in an effort to relax and get away from it all.  If you visit the Exuma Cays, you will come to know the peace and tranquility the area has to offer in a relaxaing vacation. 

The island of Staniel Cay acts as a hub for reaching the islands that lie in the central chain, and many chartering yachts pick up their guests at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club before venturing out cruise the waters of the Bahamas. The island of the Exumas are a vacation spot for both families and cruising yachts, and will prove to be an Out Island  vacation destination you will never forget, and want to to return to in the days and weeks to come.
