Each Staniel Cay  note card set contains 6 unique and artistic images of scenes from Staniel Cay Yacht Club and the island of Staniel Cay. Our note cards are printed on heavyweight card stock, and are 4.25" x 5.5" with matching white envelope. The image is surrounded by a black frame, giving it a polished and finished look. These cards are beautiful, and are a great keepsake, or you may use them as your own personal stationary.

 

Staniel Cay is located in the Exuma Cays and is a favorite stopping ground for boaters, cruisers, and vacationers alike. There are many things to do while visiting the island including a famous snorkel at Thunderball Cave.  This hollowed out island with an opening to the sky is teaming with fish-by the hundreds if not thousands at times. Thunderball cave became famous in the James Bond move Thunderball, and is must see for any trip to Staniel Cay.

In addition, it has two of most beautiful sandy beaches on the north side below 'the ridge'. Staniel Cay Yacht Club has a marina with cottages and a restaurant and is a busy hub for small boats to large yachts and sailboats. The island also has an airport making it easily accessible from the states. If you can't find space at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club, there are also many rentals available on the island, and you can also try Happy People Marina. The favorite mode of transportation is by golf cart, as the island is relatively small, and less than 100 people live on the island year round. Throughout the island, you will see homes dotted with conch shells along the driveway, or on top of their stone fences as decoration. Conch is a staple food in the Bahamas, and at the end of the day, the fisherman clean their conch at the marinas which draws in the local nurse sharks and sting rays for a spectacular feeding. Dont miss it.

This island offers you a warm welcome from the minute you get off the plane at the airport, and the locals here are some of the friendliest people we have ever met ,anywhere.
